Dos Equis Amber was my favorite beer before I left, I love the stuff. Don't feel like Corona could even come close.

But hey, who am I to tell you what tastes good to you? That's the beauty of having so many choices.

Actually I think the metallic taste comes from using too much yeast or over-aged beer.  I like brewing my own but also drink some of the mass produced swills from time to time.

Corona = Mexican peasant beer. Clear bottle..no protection from light. Pure crap for the masses.

I brewed beer for almost 20 years, Corona is Yuppie swill.

DE is not bad for a commercial brewed amber, but there are better.

Anyone know where I can find Thomas Hardy's Ale?

Lager or Amber?  

I prefer the lager with a lime.  Not bad at all.  I don't have that aftertaste problem.

tsing tao has one of those old world abbey style yeast flavors that i love-wondor where the yeast strain came from.....same with a lot of the s.e. asian beers.
