I use my rotating bezel to time when I cook stuff. Does that count?

I use the chrono on the Speedmaster all the time. Used it last night so I would know when to go pickup the Chinese food.

Yes, because I bought a watch with only one.

I've had my watch for over 4 years and never bothered setting the date. In fact, I never adjust for daylight savings time either.

Depends on the sub-dial or complication.  I tend to only buy watches with complications I care about, so as not to be an issue.  Tachymeters and chronometers are useless to me, so I don't buy watches with them.  But when it comes to temporal complications - perpetual calendars with as many simultaneous date related displays as possible, I'm in heaven.  Day, date, month, year, leap year, moon phase, local time, 24 hour time (or second time zone) - very awesome.

Whats a watch?

Oh. That thingy that you wear on your wrist and keeps getting broken.

Last time I wore on was some 15 years ago.

I dont look at my phone either.

Yes, because I didn't buy a watch with a slide rule and sextant built in. Those are occasionally impressive mechanical feats, but mostly just silly.

A watch, what's that?  Mobile phones made watches go the way of the Dodo Bird!

Ummm no.

I recently retired my Citizen Blue Angles watch.  Way too much going on to be of any real use while flying.

If your mobile phone isn't either intrinsically safe or Class 1 Div 1 rated then it won't be going in the plant with me and my watch.

Same for timing laundry. Sometimes I use the tachymeter dial for getting an estimate of speed.

In the second photo, I am timing how long it took my hunting partner to dress out my deer......the second part of the same bet. The watch and its dials/window/timer/etc. worked just fine.

I enjoy asking people with pilot watches to show me how they work.  I haven't met one person yet that knew - or ever used the features.  I know there are rare "I know how to use mine!!!" folks - but they are rare.  Its 99% about "More crap on it looks cooler!".

So are men.

Betas check time on their mobile phone they keep in a purse, with their fucking mascara.

Get a diaper so you can stop shitting in threads.

I use them when I'm sitting on the porcelain throne and forgot my smart phone.

I do such interesting things as time my poops and perform sanity checks like Roy Scheider in Blue Thunder.

Pretty much the same here: I rotate it and mark when I start my lunch break, etc., and I don't/shouldn't take my phone out onto the shop floor

The more watches I have, the more appreciation I have for simplicity. If more watches were available without a date, I would have more watches. Thankfully, very few watches come without a date.

The Spectre Seamaster is the only thing on my list.
