I've been using Dropbox for about 18 months and just now I'm noticing that sometimes I upload a file to another use and even though my dropbox settings say the file is fully uploaded the recipient's folder is EMPTY. I've experienced this both as a sender and receiver, and now other people I share with are experiencing the same problems.

I'm stumped.

Several days ago...right before this started I was trying to drag and drop some music into one of my shared folders and accidentally got it backwards! The shared folder got dragged into one of the music folders.  I figured by dragging the shared folder to the desktop and then into the Dropbox folder it'd take care of the problem.

Looks like it "killed" it. Dropbox didn't recognize the folder as being part of the application....at least for transfer purposes.

Anyway, I fixed the problem by asking the recipient to trash his copy of the folder we were sharing, creating a new shared folder and inviting him to accept it. As soon as he did...problem solved.
