I'd like to get a dual monitor setup. I'm looking at 27" monitors .

Do I really need 1440 or will 1080 be enough for CAD/CAM software like Fusion 360?

I would like to use them for all things PC wise, and get a mount for them.

I don't want to break the bank. Any suggestions?

You will be amazed at what a 4k or 5k monitor can do for you in a CAD/CAM environtment.  (posting from a 5k )  I dumped my dual 1440 24" for a single 30" 5k and have far more screen space, while saving desk space.

Dual 1080 will get the job done - but you'd be happier with MOAR pixels.  Only you can decide what that might be worth to you in terms of dollars.

Me, I'm on dual 27" 1440s right now, and planning on jumping to dual 4K in the next year or so. You can never have too much quality screen real estate.

I went from 3x 1080 to a single 4k, and it's better in every way.
