UPDATE THREE: We had a conference call today (I get weekends off). The search warrant was executed last night. Turns out that the police recovered over 1,500 rounds of stolen ammunition and a stolen rifle (from an unrelated case). The commie's arraignment was held today and the charges have been amended to include grand theft and grand theft of a firearm. The judge decided to remand him. No bail

I wonder how the cops were able to tell what ammo in the house was the 100rds a week he was eligible for and the double dipping?

The stolen rifle really seals his fate though. It is a weird situation. He didn't want to pay for the rifle and ammo so he risked ruining his life for it. To legally buy the rifle was what 1k? The ammo he could have accumulated within 5 months for free (100rds a week). I guess the answer may just be mental delusion.

Yikes! Glad you are OK.

Once you get back to normal at work, management needs to be encouraged to separate production and QC supervisors.  They are competing interests.  QC should report directly to upper management independent of production.

It can work, depending on culture. Regardless of structure, it should be EVERYONE'S goal to ship as many quality units as possible.

The worst is when upper management or the owner is actually the problem.

Damn, idiots....

We had something similar when I worked for a Coors distributor. They allowed us to take a 30 pack of Coors or a 12 pack of import a week. Wasn't anything official on the books as a perk but the owners had gave the ok as a morale boost.

Well one day they noticed a pallet a bit short... Idiot instead of pulling from the stockpile took from a pallet that was wrapped and ready for pickup.... They walked to his car and the entire passenger seat and back seat were stacked with 30 packs.

Cops were called and they opened his trunk which was full of more 30 packs....

He got fired on the spot, company decided not to press charges but the work perk was gone...

Someone that steals ammo from work. And has a stolen firearm. Bad News... Felon? Why steal a firearm?

Ever notice how hard management tries to do the guys right that someone comes along and ruins it for everyone else?

I'd bet a pmag he got the stolen rifle from one of the SRA members or their comrade club from the tranny security groups. The idiot then "paid " for the stolen rifle in stolen ammo.
Stolen firearm paid for with stolen ammo.

Heh.  I worked for a beer distributor called Beer World, in PA, after high school and over breaks in college.

They had a similar 'perk', but it involved breakages & partial cases of beer.

In PA at the time, we were only allowed to sell beer by the case or the keg.  If we got a partial case in from a supplier (due to breakage or other), we had to send it back to the supplier to make it a complete case.

The perk was, when it went back to the supplier, no one recorded if the case was missing 1 beer or 23 beers.  So, employees were encouraged to take a six pack of their favorite home with them from the send back pile, as long as there was enough to get a credit for the partial case.

IMO, it was encouraged to cover up the fact that the owners were skimming from the return pile on their own, and re-selling it to an affiliated catering business.  A few years after I left, an employee got into a DUI crash on the way home, with his trunk full of six packs.   From what I heard, he turned witness to the state ABC board, which helped bring the whole enterprise down.

I think we are all missing the bigger picture here. It seems there is now a position available at a company that not only allows concealed carry, but also offers a 400 rd / month bonus.

OP, what’s the hourly wage for Commie Boy’s old job?

When did they stop doing this? My MIL was a retiree (Marketing and a taster) from Coors and they were getting 6 cases a month as an official perk. After she passed, my FIL was still getting that perk right up until he passed in 2012. I remember it was always a big deal to go get the beer because they had to take their golf bags out of the car to go over on "beer day" every month. My FIL was very cheap and he practically danced on those days.

It's too bad they stopped doing it.

Our fulfillment and logistics (F&L) department is run by a real stickler (I'm convinced that said logistics supervisor is on the autism spectrum like me). He keeps meticulous records of weekly ammo compensation and enters every instance into our inventory system. Ammo comp is tabulated by F&L, so he was able to provide proof that the commie never once claimed ammo comp.

On a side note, the plant manager called him in on Monday and gave him a raise. Can't say I've ever heard of anyone having a problem with him. His "people" skills are highly developed like mine. The dude is a wizard at his job.

I can be OCD sometimes, but some real sticklers amaze me at how detailed they can be.  When it helps out, it HELPS.  And is usually hilarious to watch the reactions of the lier/cheater.
