I was cleaning one of my AR's the other day and noticed somthing strange. All the wear marks on the upper receiver were right where the brass deflector meets the ejection port. Nothing on the brass deflector itself.
Whats that mean?
Over gassed?

Mine has dings all along the aft portion of the ejection port. Mine is also overgassed. Could be.... I dunno though.
Try a heavier buffer.

Maybe we can turn it into a relationship thread.

(Sorry I can't help. Mine leave brass dings right on the trailing edge of the deflector.)
