You're welcome

Well made, takes G3, FAL, SR25, ect.  Also will fit (loosely) AR and AK mags if you need it to.

Just carrying as normal.

Switching from 1911 to G17 though, this whole week.

Coincidental, however. No real reason. Just switching it up.

I will be working, & carrying my G19 like I do everyday.

Pretty comfy here - WV is a fortress of FHRC.  But I may have to drive through Charlotte on Wed - will definitely have more than my LCP if I do.

What the fuck do I have to worry about in a middle of nowhere city in a middle of nowhere state that is solid red anyways?

Ill have a bunch of beers and go to sleep drunk regardless of the outcome.

I'm going to get drunk down by the courthouse and start a family feud. I'm doing 2016 the old fashioned way!

Working.

Plate carrier in the passenger seat, Sig 556 in the passenger footwell, Glock 20 under the plate carrier. 7 full rifle mags on the carrier, 3 pistol mags. Need to check my 10mm stash though, if I'm low it'll be the Glock 21 instead.

I've got a long commute by highway. The chances of violence where I am are ridiculously low, but I'm not going to get stuck out there for hours.

Working the polls for a local candidate.

Be civil to the people who ask you to vote for their guy on the way in.

Apparently some people do decide at the last minute and every vote helps.

Working, like usual.  1911 with four full magazines, like usual.  The only thing that's unusual is I recently put together a kit that all fits in a medium-sized duffle bag.  It has an AR pistol that's broken apart, plate carrier with level IV plates, three-mag shingle, ear pro, takedown cleaning rod, Otis cleaning kit, and a spare bottle of Hoppe's gun oil.  I figure that since it's going to go wherever I go, I should say "as usual" to that, also.  No Ripits, though.

I'll be working tomorrow.  Depending on the results and how much drinking is involved, however, I may or may not be present on Wednesday.

I will be in an armored vehicle with my M4, sidearm in a thigh rig and plate carrier.

Just another training day.

You're so boring.

11/7/2016 12:52:17 PM EDT
[#35]
I have a 45 minute drive to and from work.  I may be a bit tired from staying up and the really nice bottle of cognac I have just for the election.

Thought I doubt I will have any issues where I live and drive through, I will be carrying:

1 - AR with 6 spare 30 rd  magazines

1 - 9 mm or 45, depending on how I feel, with an 4 spare 15 - 18 rd magazines

1 - Armor, which I really do not to walk 25 miles in (but I can) -

2 - Toad stickers - one large and one small

Extra water, food, and clothing, just in case I have to walk home.

I usually only carry two hand guns with a few spare mags each, so just a bit extra.
11/7/2016 12:52:21 PM EDT
[#36]
The issue will be tomorrow evening and then the rest of the week.  I think this may get interesting and glad I don't live in an urban area.

One of the many benefits of rural living is getting to watch he rest of the world burn before it spreads its way to us.

I took the week off.  Not because it's election day, but because it's veterans day so I can take the whole week and only use 4 days of leave.

Working.

I don't see things happening where I'm at no matter what happens.  Wed might be different though...if Hillary wins I might stay home so I don't have to listen to the bullshit at work.

If stuff does kick off, I'll know a day or w ahead of urbanites....and I'll adjust accordingly.

I'm going to be away from the house all week, so I have my "defcon 1" load out with me.  i.e.  my best gear...

Close.
The SKD UCR (Universal Chest Rig) is better, and it's designed by Paul Howe. Takes SR-25, FAL, G3, AR, AK, etc mags plus holds 4 pistol mags with MOLLE panels on the side to configure it how you want.

Fits right over your plate carrier
