I went out to dinner with them and someone went and told the waitress that it was my birthday (my bd was over a week ago). I got real embarassed when it seemed like the entire restaurant staff comes out singing "happy birthday" and gave me a piece of cake with a candle on top. Anyway, I got this present from them: I was also told that I am now allowed to take unsupervised trips as long as it is within a 20 mile radius. |
| It’s always embarrassing to have the staff come out and sing to you. Last year at my birthday my buddies took me out to dinner and the restaurant didn't have enough staff to sing for me so they got some regular customers to sing for me. So as we're finishing up with our meal 8 or so guys come over and start singing me happy birthday. I'm not talking your average singers; these guys sing in some sort of group (choir or something) for a living and were really good. It was pretty cool. Everyone in the restaurant applauded, it was pretty fun. |
