Test tone came on, and then the text said it would override the TV tuner and tune you to a local news channel.
The tone came and went, and then my TV changed channels to TV8, for about 15 seconds then switched back to the channel I had it on. Tone ended, but now NO SOUND on any CHANNEL.. .Gov, please release control of the audio tracks please... |

Here on the radio, it sounded like 4 or 5 different tests covering each other up. Couldn't understand the spoken audio at all. I used to work radio back in 80-84 and we had a regular schedule that we followed, so I'm not too concerned. I still can't fathom how shitty the sound is after all these years and with all of these equipment upgrades. Stretching a string between two cat food cans sounds better. Chris |

Programming was interupped by a screen text that looked like a MS PowerPoint slide stating that this is a test all the while Lady Gaga's Papparazzi played in the background. After a few moments, a scrolling message appeared on the screen stating the same message. Local Radio NPR interupted with deep humming sound Other stations on my presets unaffected. |
| DAMN . . .I failed the test ! I've been watching Fox News and it never got interupted. So I switched over to a higher cable number and saw a EAS test thingy on the screen and went right back to Fox - nuthin'. Radio station I was listening to at the same time never got interupted. I so sorry. I flunkee the test. I not know. |
