| My friend who is on yasmin birth control got freaked out after an experience and took plan B. she was fine until now (she took the last pill of 2 at 5am). She has chills and a fever and a quick pulse. What is wrong? she cant explain the visit to her parents. |
Yes. He's posting about an adverse drug reaction on a gun forum because he's too afraid of the most important people finding out. Maybe Darwin will claim both of them for their outrageous stupidity.
|
Hrm... possibility of death... possibility of parents finding out that you're fucking your boyfriend... hrm... Get her to a doctor and stop posting on ARFCOM. |
|
Tell her to read the adverse reactions on the drug info sheet while you drive her to the ER.
Got your keys? |
Oh...so you all claim to be adults? Also...then why did you say she couldn't explain the visit??? ...and stop posting here and do what's right...geez... |

Plan B can really screw up a females body for a couple weeks with the worst being the 3 days. At least that is what I saw first hand. It made an ex of mine feel bad enough to miss work for 2 days and she felt horrible for about a week. How bad are her symptoms? Chills and a fever after taking a high dose of hormones would be expected. Is the fever something routine like 100 degrees or extream 104 degrees? If any of the symptoms are extream get her to the ER. If the symptoms are more like a bad flue then I would say wait until morning. If she gets worse go to the ER. |
| It kills me seeing threads like this. If someone was having a heart attack, would you post here to find out how to do CPR? If the house was burning down (except for that one guy a couple days ago), would you post here to find out how to use a fire extinguisher? Go to a doctor. |
My wife (and subsequently, myself) spent 11 days in the hospital after a massive pulmonary embolism caused (we believe) by the Yasmin she had been taking for about 2 years. She survived it, but only by getting IMMEDIATE medical attention and some of the fastest ambulance drivers in Tucson. The clotbuster (can't recall the name) at about $2000 a shot was critical to the survival, as well. We did some investigation aftewards and PE's are associated with Yasmin. This is bad stuff - get medical attention NOW, OP! |
