[ARCHIVED THREAD] - End the multiple multi quotes

We have a ton of guys here that never snip or edit out the quotes...it kills good long threads. Also when there is CoC violation the hall monitors and staff have a headache to clean up.

It would be nice that only maybe the past 3-4 post get quoted then maybe a 'spoiler' type link for the rest.

Look at the UH1Z thread now for an example

I agree this also needs to be done, for nested quotes.

Maybe have a automatic "2-nested-quotes limit", and all the others get dropped automatically.

Or just somethign where it would automatically collapse all of the previous quotes and if you want to read them you could click on a

collapse icon to drop it down

Someone else suggested a multi quote option in another thread. That would work well in this situation. Not many people here will want to manually quote 10 responses.

Two things really kill a thread, the quote pyramid and enlarged text, it's rare for any discussion to be worth enduring both.
