I also posted this at the AR15 optics board, buy i figured i'd post it on the general board to get more hits. the 2d reticle is fuzzy and appears out of focus. a previous thread had a pic of a 2d reticle posted and it was nice and clear. is this a bum sight or am i missing an adjustemnt or something? | When I first received my Eotech I thought it was screwed up - the thing is to look THROUGH the reticle. If you stare AT the reticle it's going to blur. Look THROUGH the reticle with both eyes open and youll see the dot sitting on the target. This way the reticle/dot is nice and clear. It's a matter of where you focus. Try it. |

My reticle gets blurry when it is on a low setting, when it is close in, or when I'm wearing my contacts. My contacts also blur the picture thru a cameras lens. I'm thinking about mounting my EOTech on a scout rail to get a better reticle pattern and faster target acquistion. I'm unsure about BUIS, though. I like the 1/2-3/4" rise of the rail. TS |
