YUP.  I REALLY liked it.  Awesome good movie.  I watched it EXACTY the same way you did.  Dark room, home alone.

Scared the shit outta me too.

Man.... when he was crawling around in the ships ducting.... and the lights would go ON and OFF... man, that got to me.

Plus... the whole thing about exactly WHERE a ship would go IN BETWEEN the 2 points... as the "engine" brings them together.....  scary shit.
