Itch. Boy, that ain't no shit. It's maddening sometimes. I have a couple of prescriptions from the Dr. 5% Fluticasone Propionate and 5% Halobetasol Propionate. Seems to be working but slowly. And Benadryl. Using the high powered stuff alot will thin your skin and make it look like stretchy old man skin. Go easy. |

But I gotta get it under control before I scratch myself bloody. Prescription calls for two weeks of use. I have till Thursday. |
A&D ointment and Hawaiian tropic suntan oil are the only things Ive found to help it..I get it on my scalp from time to time..not enough to go to a doctor but just enough to be irritating..if Im indoors with any kind of heater running it really starts it up..hence why I live in the swamp state where I normally run the AC 24/7!
Reading the other posts here... yeah the Hydrocortisone cream is the stuff to use my mom uses that stuff all the time and its good stuff for dry skin... I just dont buy it cause Im a cheap bastard!

I have tried all sorts of stuff.
The only thing that works is Cortizone 5 or 10 cream. It is like a miracle cream for excema, go down to the drug store and grab some, rub it in good before bed, in the morning it will be practically gone. I use it in the winter every other night, the rest of the year my skin is fine. |
