Bad force. Punching someone in the back over and over will only enrage them. Should have let the uniformed cop taser her. Punching looks bad. Suspended with pay for 2 weeks and never (never= 3 years) promoted again. Pretty much all of this. I don't actually think it was "excessive" in the sense that they were trying to subdue a resisting suspect. However, the punches are not going to play well with a jury. |

Kidney punches are against the rules in boxing IIRC. Surely there is a good medical reason for that.
I'm willing to hold off judgment until ARFCOM LEO's chime in, but those blows appeared not to be needed or intended to gain control of the perp. My money is on her getting paid assuming the right jury pool. |

Not excessive, but a pretty shitty application of force. ![]() |

Thank God, made it home safe? Not saying what that officer did was right, but I would LOVE to see how you would deal with FSA soldier Saqueefa in the hood. If she did something that warranted arrest and a tazer had already been unholstered, then non-compliance should have been fixed that way. Ask, Tell, Make. No need to beat the shit out of someone on camera to get them to comply. That's what technology is for. |

Plainclothes releases her, advises comply or taze. When no comply, uniform lights her ass up. Maybe she'd catch her chin on the squad on the way down and bust a tooth. |

The current only goes barb to barb. That's what's awesome about tasers. |

Excessive force would be strikes after taken into custody or during a illegal arrest/detainment. As soon as she was in custody the strikes stopped. That being said it looked really ugly. Jury will eat him alive. Cops need to learn a little control. Take her to the ground and cuff, works better than strikes. So all that being said...........looks bad. |

He'd have to leave his momma's basement for that. I would leave the basement, approach Shaniqua calmly and politely engage her in a thought provoking conversation about the ramifications of non-compliance with an officer of the law. If that didn't work I'd beat her to a pulp and go home (back to the basement) safe. |

There is nothing worse than dealing with an angry black female so I understand his frustration... ..that being said the punches and neck hold looks VERY bad on camera. Let me guess she was pregnant too? Maybe they were giving commands in cursive? Resisting, good beat-down. Do not afford the FSA any Rules of Engagement, they will be used against us. Some comments: Her pimp beats her way harder than that. she was trying to swallow drugs someone didn't have his donut this morning. Poor girl tried to swallow the dope in her mouth, and she did. the cunt in the cap would be on my list of people to donate to the muslim infidels ...do us a favor and put one of those "anti-spit bags" over her head too... Something tells me she should look for a different speed dating place. |

Here is a good question. What would you guys do if you saw a cop abusing your wife or S/O like that? Do you at some point, say fuck the law and put your pride and your s/o's respect first? Not suggesting it, but I have thought that myself if an abusive cop started hitting my wife. WTF can you do? All hypothetical of course.
For the record, 99.9999999% of obstruction of justice and resisting arrest charges are bullshit. They are only there to make sure the perp gets busted for SOMETHING! |

Needs more audio pretty sure the idea would be her shouting all sorts of cuss words and the cops shouting stop resisting and drop the weapon. I do not know why you guys think that the ideal matters. I don't care of she said his mother was a filthy port town whore, excessive force is excessive force, cops dont have the right to beatdown someone for runnong their mouths. |
