With bullpups rapidly gaining in popularity in this country, i'm somewhat surprised someone hasn't tried to manufacture one of those things domestically.

The pups just don't turn me on for some reason. Call me old fashioned.

It is a very neat gun but it is overshadowed somewhat by the more popular and aesthetically pleasing Steyr Aug.

I want one in NATO config but that will likely never happen, nor would it at those prices even if I had that kind of $$$ to waste.

Is that FA? I just noticed it was in WA state.

Never mind I just looked it up. Pretty sure he has to transfer it to someone out of state. The FA law states you had to have possession of a registered MG before July 1994 to be grandfathered in otherwise its a no-go.

Seems like a pretty good deal.  I thought they went for much more. If full auto its an even better deal.

Is there any word of having them made in the US, like the MSARs? I'd love to have one.

French guns have a very bad reputation.
Unfired, dropped once.
Besides, this particular excrement is only semi auto.

Steyr Aug FTW

Did the FAMAS even exist in '94?

If it was acquired prior to 7/1/94 then it would be a legal privately-owned FA.  It would still have to be sold out-of-state, however, as the new transfer would make the new ownership post 7/1/94, & thus illegal in WA.

Awesome.

I would purchase it just for the sake of having one if I could.

The socialist French will NEVER allow the FAMAS to be sold here again so that sucker is just going up in price.

Uber rare. Just slightly over 100 rifles in total in county. They typically only come up for sale when somebody dies or falls on hard times.

It's semi auto. If it was full-auto it would be worth a fortune. There's only a very small amount of them on the market in the states, thus the collectors premium on the price.

Oh, and the Tavor or SA80 will be produced here long before the FAMAS.

Rare french Weapon. Not a beauty but if I had the spare change and would be into collecting I would purchase it.
