going to veto any legislation that will try to eliminate the automatic cuts to the military of $600billion by 2013
these idiots can only think of cutting two things and one is the military, drastically... ![]() to put it into perspective...one nimitz class carrier is 6 billion... flat tax, cut entitlements, no tax increase, no major defense cuts, cut foreign aid, leave abortion, gay rights, weed, and gun rights to the states...drill, clean coal, nuke power pull troops from iraq and Afghanistan... |

Obamas style is that of an absentee parent. He is not a leader or hard worker, instead he opts for lectures and theater. Of course, for successes, he loves the credit, but for failures, he offers nothing but distant lectures and admonishment. He has always been this way. It's his media following that allows it to have the appearance of leadership. |

One thing that will happen due to major cuts will be a lot of experienced veterans forced out as well. Quoted: Oh boy, the 90's will be back. Mech units go to the field maybe once a year due to lack of fuel Repair parts become as rare as Unicorn tears Platoon leaders pool their money to buy commercial ammo in order to run BN qualification ranges |

Quoted: What percentage of our GDP should go to defense? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_military_expenditures I'd suggest about 3% from our current 4.7% However, our military should be "gettin' paid" for their police actions around the world. For example: Instead of signing a trade agreement with Korea, the Koreans should be signing over a fucking huge check every year for our military to remain in Korea instead of the Koreans subsidizing the shit out of Samsung, Daewoo, Hyundai, LG, etc. in order to put our own industries out of business. Countries that use US military capability and spending as an economic crutch should pay for the privilege. |

We never learn. Hopefully something like another Korea will not come about and catch us with our pants down again. |

Welcome to 1994 ![]() I got out of the Corps in jan of 94. I ran around the 29palms training area in late 1993 with no ammo, no rockets. We had to make believe.... It was sad. I remember guys in the weapons Squad aiming their M-60s and yelling "Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Budget cuts" |

That's what libtards do.
