I was wondering if anyone has a FN F2000? I am thinking about getting one and was wanting to know the pros and cons of the rifle. Also would like to know the accuracy. THANKS.

I don't have one but I have shot them. I find them awkward and heavy.

Yeah, get one.  they poop their spent brass out the front right?

I shot one once it was very awkward but I could hit what I was aiming at

You can hit with them but they are so unbalanced. They have the dynamic handling qualities of a concrete block. The price makes them even worse

I love mine. Great handling rifle, I love the front eject of the brass. It is easy to clean. I haven't shot my AR since I got an FS2000.

Oh yeah, the trigger sucks.

I had one, didn't like it much, traded it for a custom AR.

It has a funky ejection system with no good way to clear a jam (switch gets in the way), the fire control group is made of plastic including the hammer, and as far as im concerned too much of the gun is plastic.

The manual at arms is different and the trigger is definitely worse than an AR, but the bullpup desing makes them compact and (IMO) very handy and fast handling.

But then I have a bit of time behind an 11" AUG so the handling and ergos are similar.

To each his own.

I prefer the Steyr AUG for the slimmer bull-pup design and for being able to check chamber and magazine status without taking either hand off the rifle. The FS2000 is a nice rifle, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a field or range outing.

Yeah, it'd be nice if there was still someone making AUG style rifles in the US.

it's a neat little rifle.

it's got a spongy trigger vs. your garden variety M4, but it's better than a stock Steyr AUG.

you can get a forend rail for it to attach stuff like VFG's, sing swivel, and lights, etc.

what i like about it is the compactness, it rivals an SBR in size.  not a bad rifle to have in a confined space like a vehicle.

the manual of arms is somewhat different, since you have to push a bottom button to remove the mag.

keep fingers away from the gas plug ... easy to get "zapped."  gas feels like an electric shock.
