| No anagram here they took no bailout from the fed so FUCK GM CHRYSLER CHEVY and all there ilk they cost us over 54 billion in losses, and screwed bondholders even worse in violation of federal law that OBAMA forced them to ignore their position as first to recoup investments... and Lot of Fords in the Azores when i was there... probably still there and driving around.. |

Ford still owes us billions in "loans" for "hybrid development" so whatever, I hate what gm did too but don't think Ford is dramatically better. Bill Ford was on CNBC this morning, he absolutely gave the UAW a rusty trombone for half the interview. It was disgusting. The gm bailout was a bailout for the uaw, that's it. Guess who builds Fords?

I'm what Ford calls a "Legacy" owner. except for a shitty Chevy 1-ton back in 1981 and the wife's Toyota.(Talk about pieces of crap) . That's really all I've owned.
Problem free for the entire time. Three decades of Ford trucks . Just as soon as this one hits 200K I'll buy another.

I've owned two new Chevys - both leaked in the rain and I was told both times that it was tough luck. One had overheating problems and the other had starting problems. Both were before the so called "lemon laws".
I've owned a new Dodge RAM (in the 70's). It was a gas guzzling, rough riding, noisy POS. Never did think that "Dodge" was an effective or reassuring name for a car. OTOH, I've owned two used Fords (one a '72 Pinto) and five new ones and ALL of them served me well and most had no problems. Just a broken timing belt on the '81 EXP - my fault for not changing it when supposed to. Ford's got the best selling truck in the US for something like 37 years running, and in the world for 35 years running. Also the best overall selling vehicle in the US. They must be doing something right. They have by me, so I'm a Ford man for life and proud of it. Haters will always be around, but IMHO they're just jealous! Like what you buy, and buy what you like, and leave others to do the same without all the hate and discontent; there's enough of that out there already!
Snide question: Which is the better rifle, the AR-15 or the AK-47? Same difference!

I know ...let use red loc-tight on the 12pt 12mm driveshaft u-bolts so no fucker can get them off. Ford made rice-burner engineering look good...and that was a tough feat to accomplish. |

The Hybrid tool up money was given to all auto makers not as a loan but part mileage requirements all manufacturers(bailout in a sense) got it in the US, and yes they are UAW but almost everyone I know from here (where they shut down a plant to consolodate) wear FORD shirts and hats not UAW my buddy uses everyone he is given as a dog towel or blanket or a rag. Ford took a loan out for 5 billion using the LOGO as collateral, they asked and got union concessions and kept themselves alive did the hybrid money help yes just like it helped all others, and FORD dont owe nothing to the gov.. And we didn't lose 50+ billion on FORD. For ddidnt screw preferred bondholder with ten cents on the dollar because Obama threatened them how many pensioners owned stock and lost their investments as a result teachers, cops, cities, and a guy who just bought stock in them. Mulally (sp) has done wonders for the brand and FORD stands tall next to Gov motors and Chrysler. |
