I got my Natches July/August catalog today and they had an ad about if you buy this scope for $120, you get free rings and base. Then on the same line it states that you can get the same scope with out the free rings and base for $99.99.  Gee today I learned that the word free means it will cost you 20 bucks.

I went car shopping with my dad once. They had FREE VCR painted on every car. The car cost $200 more to get the free vcr.

That's worse than giving away free salted peanuts at a pub.

I think it was P.J. O'Rourke who said something like " If you think healthcare is expensive now wait until it is free"
