Nice video. Somewhat OT, but does anyone have a copy of that video of the F4 landing somewhere in Vietnam with his gear up with drop tanks that flames out, they catch it, full burn off the runway, destroy the ship, and you see 2 chutes (they made a perfect landing on drop tanks instead of wheels)? Was a cool video because it starts out with an F4 doing a fly over and dropping flares and taking back off to warn of the incoming phantom that had problems. The pilot and the RIO were were fine and I have heard several versions of what actually happened. That tank of that F16 hangs really really really low so it reminded me of that. |

We had an "incident" here at Luke, where a student pilot (on his first solo) had his gear fail to come down. He was offered the chance to punch-out, but refused. He than landed that pig on the centerline tank (keeping it level the whole time), without severly damaging the aircraft. He really had some balls to do that in a F-16. |

It works!!!!!!!!!!!!  Cool video, would have been better if it hadn't been for all of the lawn darts in it.
