The trumpet coach for the marching band helps run an organization called "Arizona Academy for the Performing Arts". They have been entered into a contest to receive a large donation from Chase. They are currently in second place. If they win first place, the get 150,000 bucks. They are good people. They sponsor a number of musical endeavors for high school and college aged students.
