| So I have business clients that want to friend me but I don't want them to know about my personal life. If I don't accept their friend request, I feel like I might offend them. Is everyone strictly friends and family or do you include business associates? |

I work for a sales organization and they have their own page. I might stick with the add but with restrictions. You can make a group that doesn't get to see almost anything. I do this with minor relatives and chain of command types. Mostly I just don't add people. |

If you're using Facebook, keep it personal, keep the info you share minimal, and don't mix with business.... EVER. If you need a Business face in Facebook, create a profile for that purpose and act appropriately there... Assume everything you do online will be seen by the last person you want to see it. Then, act accordingly. Posting too many pictures of your home, your valuables, your safe, your area... all way too much information for the WWW. The less people know about you, the better off you will be. Your life may depend on it one day... |
