How many of you guys have beards, goatees, or mustaches??  Lets see them goatee's, beards, and mustaches.  I'm trying to decide if I'm going to grow out a goatee, or a VanDyke.

Stubble beard usually. Once in a while I grow it out more but not for long. Can't stand the itching.

I'm 33 and had a goatee since I could grow one.  The job I start at the end of the month requires me to be clean shaven so I cut it off yesterday.

I'm clean-shaven for the first time in at least 5 years.

I'm doing the year of the beard.

Clean shaven using a 1940s gillette super speed.

There is a thread in team discussion about DE wet-shaving with lots of info and links.

There's a guy who does a decent blog about beards.  http://www.dyers.org/blog/beards/beard-types/

I've played around with a few different styles, right now I'm sporting a modified Anchor.  Detached mustache with soul patch and goatee tapering to points along the jaw line.

Similar to this, except I keep it trimmed shorter and I don't do the thin mustache.

I had a goatee for 18 years but my new job requires everyone to be clean shaven because we have to wear respirators.

Had a kickass beard from about 20-23.  Joined the Army and have been clean shaven the last 5 years (save for a couple weeks here and there on leave).

I get out in June and will proceed to not shave ever again.  Probably won't trim for at least 6 months, maybe a year.

Must be a lot of Amish folks here as more beards are checked than mustaches.

Do the year of the beard!

I just started.

I look goofy as fuck without facial hair.  Laugh at me - I know I did.

I sport a mustache and goatee for the past 12 years.  Once or twice a year I may change it up a bit and go with just a mustache or clean shaven for a month or so.

I used to grow a beard every winter and shave it off around St. Patrick's Day, but since working in a place with a "clean room" I've gone clean shaven all the time. I hate wearing beard and moustache covers.

Last month, for the first time in 3 decades, I shaved my beard and moustache.

My wife asked if I would give it a try, sure why not, they grow back, so I shaved and went to bed.

I woke my daughter, 5 years old, the next morning.  she opened her eyes and the first words out of her mouth were "Daddy, you shaved!"

My sons, all 4 of them, ranging in age from 3 to 16, still have not noticed

Technically I think it is a "Van Dyke" that I have not a goatee. All I know is it covers up my double chin I have been growing over the last few years. Yes I have the crazy eyes in that pic

It shouldn't, but I try to look clean and presentable when I want somebody's money and I don't trust people in HR departments to have a whole lot of common sense.

Had a nice mustache from my early 20s to my mid 50s when the geezer hair started. The mustache got all gnarly and went grey before my hair. The grey I could handle but that wild ass gnarly look meant it had to go.
