I finished the game a few months back...The other day I finally signed up for X-Box live and downloaded the Anchorage campaign.
I am unable to play ithe Anchorage Campaign. I have tried every which way I could think of but no dice. Can anyone offers suggestions.? Also...it seems now that all my previously played and saved games are now gone from my hard drive. Does Live erase the stored games? |
| On the PC I know that when you installed the DLC it deleted the games because it was updating the game which makes your earlier saves useless. Also check out near the Red rocket Factory. There should be a door down a road that slopes down kinda heading towards the library that if you enter and follow will take you to the Anchorage simulator. |
| What a long game, I'm still playing through it and I got it on release, I'm trying to do every single side quest before I finish the main campaign. Live is not supposed to erase anything, it still has to be on your HDD, did you create a new profile for live or updated your existing one? |

Same profile...Now when I start the fallout 3 I can only play a new game from the begining... |

Your saves are still there Live just loads from a different folder. You can move them from the old location to the new location by going to
My Documents -> My Games -> Fallout3 -> Saves, where you should find all of your original saves plus a folder with your Xbox Live gamer tag as the title. Move those save files into your gamer tag folder and your original game saves will be available again. There are instructions on how to get the anchorage .esp .esm file into your Fallout3 data folder if it isn't already, so that you can activate it from your FO3 launcher. Here are a couple of links- link 1, link 2 that should explain how to do it. Edit: *.esm file |

Did your gamerscore transfer to the live account? Mine didnt when I went live and had to start all games over from scratch. Totally from zero.
If the same happened to you then it may be the case that your not at the bit of the storyline that you have to be to access the DLC (Dont quote me on that though as I havnt played it for ages and cant remember if you have to get to a certain point in the game to gain access) |

If you log out of live you can play them still but you won't be able to get achievements with the old files. In order to get achievements you need to start a new game. If you wonder why this happens, it is to keep people from cheating to get achievements. |

I wasted so many hours on that game, I amassed a monstrous collection of weapons and armor and stuff for making weapons in my tenpenny tower sweet...apparently there is a glitch that involves a character bing pure evil and entering the tower....game crashes every time now, all saved games ruined |

The only the there was the new game with the one save. Nothing else.... |
