...Your mom turns 60? I know this is a mile stone in ones life and all but I'm not all up on my etiquette(sp?) at age 34. We are obviously planning a party but I'm looking for ideas on what people did or plan on doing for their own parents at that age? Suggestions and ideas appreciated (and I already thought about getting her an M-60  )

Same thing--*SHE* will not think she was a bad mom. Time to bite the bullet and grit one's teeth.  If one is able to do that, perhaps she will be a great mom for the rest of her life and make your children happy spending time with "grandma." Grandmas are very, very special.
