Has anyone used one of these? http://www.northernbrewer.com/fastferment-7-9-gallon-conical-fermentor
I ordered a Brew Boss and the fastferment came with it and while it seems like a great way to get into a conical I am curious if anyone has had any issues with it sealing up. I pitched the yeast on Sunday and it fermented for about 2 days and then by Wednesday morning it was finished. I normally get at least 6 days of fermenting done. Does anyone have any experience with this thing? |

Yeast was SafAle US-05....We drank a little to much product and forgot to take the gravity up front but the gravity is supposed to be 1.065. |

I have one. It seems to me that everything moves along faster when using it. I'm no expert on fermentation but 2 to 3 days of active fermentation are normal for me. Interesting, I hope that it was enough. I actually pitched it again to see if it would ferment anymore and it wouldn't. We will see. Thanks for the reply |
