| Dont like Ford, dont ruin the topic. |
| I now am on my 3rd XLT. Have a 2007 Supercrew, and zero problems. Don't need or want 4wd (FX4 is 4wd) as it costs more, more to maintain, higher insurance and less gas mileage. XLT is pretty well loaded, more so now than ever. Another thing is I don't care for leather seats, so the cloth XLT is exactly what I need. |
I believe that it has become its own trim level now on all the F series. I don't think you can order the FX4 "Package" any longer. |
On Superduties, FX4 is still a package that can be added onto other trim levels, like XLTs or Lariats or King Ranches. Only on the F150 is the FX4 a separate trim level, on the previous gen trucks it was an option package just like on a Superduty. |
The XL option is the best of 'em all, simple and utilitarian. Trucks should only be available in its basic form and 4x only. If folks want a fancy ride with all the "creature comforts", they should buy a Maybach. If folks want to go fast, an exotic v12 is it. There isn't an all in one option, folks either need a truck or want a truck. Good luck. :} |
Check the 08 Super Duty, FX4 is a trim level now.... On the 07 you are correct, I got the "package" on my 07 F350 SRW |
