Ok so a non Christmas thread. Who is your favorite MMA fighter. Personally, I'm a fan of Fedor Emelianenko. Hes recently TKO'd Tim Sylvia at the Affliction Banned event and is fighting Arlovski at the end of January in the Affliction Day of Reckoning event, not to mention he has a near perfect record. So whose your favorite?

I like Frank Mir even if he will probably loose Saturday, he just comes off as a pretty cool guy other than him I really enjoy watching Gina Cerrano http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t250/mjmjr1312/Gina_Carano_04_280x_408090a.jpg -Mike You and I both brother. |

I used to love watching Royce Gracie back in the day. Royce was the original bad ass of the UFC. 172 lbs and take on a man 4 times his size. That was back in the day when they fought over and over till there was one man left. No weight classes either. That was the real UFC, twas banned in the US for quite a while. |

I don't follow this sport that closely but from what I have heard this Fedor guy sounds like he is unstoppable. Watch this video and see what you think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PfgEpRIOAE |

Yes he did. But the rematch showed that it was a lucky punch in the first match, otherwise he wouldn't have been so completely dominated the second time around.

GSP is going to be tough to beat unless someone gets in a lucky punch, like Matt Cerra did. Funny, no one has mentioned Anderson Silva. Matt Serra beat GSP fair and square. |

Can't STAND Matt Serra, Clay Guida or Jason McDonald. Matt's just an ass, Clay seems like a nice guy but I hate watching him flip his rat's nest out of his face to see and I hate the way he marches around the ring all hunched over. And McDonald (ain't nobody's stepping stone) is arrogant and needs a few good beatdowns in a row to set him straight.
I'm partial to Roger Huerta 'cause he's hot. I also like Bisping for some reason even though I think he's full of himself. I'd love to have a beer or two with Forrest and Chris Leben. I think Jens would be fun to hang out with too. He reminds me of an ex-boyfriend though so........ |
