Nuts to eat for snacking, maybe with beer/wine. Not incorporated in recipes. Poll to follow. ETA: If you need to flavor them, please choose the nut you are flavoring. |
| I love cashews. Many years ago, my girlfriends mother bought me a boatload of them. I was in heaven and proceeded to eat a boatload of them. Since then, any more will cause me to break out in hives that concentrate in the areas where those delicious morsels enter and exit my body. |

Taste - Roasted cashews are hands down the tastiest
Health - Almonds. I eat a serving most days of the week due to all the good stuff they contain. Roasted, unsalted. I love lots of other nuts, too...pecans, pistachios, walnuts, hazelnuts. I tend to love them in decidedly decadent applications like pecan pie, pistachio gelato, walnuts in syrup on a sundae, etc. |

Has anyone ever tasted the cashew fruit? I heard that those are not exported during harvest of the nut. http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRqAIp8YwDpMjcTYibOsRTE8eu3K_UL-pk8tkzf_DsCxMxJgssChStTgZ_3 It's poisonous. |
