I have to go with CCI mini mag solids. They work good in everything i've shot them in. 40 grain 1235fps

I can tell you I stopped buying the Federal Bulk pack from WW because the accuracy out of anything I own is absolutely horrendous.

the mini-mags gave me the best accuracy in my .22 RCS upper - BUT the bulk federal at walmart are pretty good value for the price..

Federal 550 bulk packs from WallyWorld... all my rimfires love them and even better, I've managed to get quite a stash built up over the last year...

Remington Sub-sonic.  Functions flawlessly in all of my .22s and is extremely accurate in all but one of them (Systema 1911A1 with a Ceiner kits.  Function is 100%, but accuracy is not too great.  Prints well with CCI Minimags, tho..)

CCI Mini-mags are tops.
But in terms of cheaper ammo, the CCI Blazer aint bad.

Here is 10,000 rounds of it.
$180 per 5000 from Sportsmansguide.
I am trying to talk myself out of a third case.

I have a number of 22 caliber toys. I prefer the velocitors in each and every one. They are quite similar to the mini mag, with a good bit more umph. Just as accurate too. But the real reason I like em so much is that they never fail, jam, stovepipe or act up in any way. Plus the extra stopping power is clearly evident. They are full 40 grain rounds too. The case is the proper length also, unlike stingers which have slightly longer cases (at least they used to).

Velocitors will always cycle properly too.

Franklin

PS, CCI Velicotors (183 Lb/ft energy) and Agulia Interceptors (193 Lb/ft energy) both crono exactly the same out of my guns. Forget the specs, they are, for all comparisons, exactly the same. With the CCI being more consistent.

These are fun! But often, they tumble out of my 10/22. The gun just won't stabilize them 100%. Sometimes they are good, sometimes not.

CCI Stingers because I can get them so cheap.  If I had to get them at regular prices I would have to go with the walmart specials

Federal bulk pack is the Burger King of the .22 bulk world. Accurate, reliable and cheap.

For suppressed shooting in a rifle (Federal bulk is still subsonic out of a 4.5" pistol), I prefer CCI Standard Velocity or Sub Sonics.

I got it cheap too, about 5 years ago. It's about as easy to rid of as the clap or a Dodge.

+1 Just shot my new P22 and I had some bulk Remington Golden bullets, and about every clip had an empty case get stuck in the bore and the extractor wouldn't grab it. Soon as i started shooting cheap Federal bulk no more problems.

My savage groups well with Winchester T22 target, it runs subsonic.  It does fair with Aguila Super Colibris, and pretty good with the mini-mags.

I've got a brick or two of Wildcats around here for an old monkey ward repeater too.  It likes them best.

They're all different.  Some more finicky than others.

I guess we've had some different experiences with our Remington .22 ammo. I've always had luck getting rid of it through the process of firing it downrange!

The CCI mini-mag 36 grain HP runs better and groups better in my 10/22 and Marlin 60....but the 40 grainer ain't too shabby either.

Way back when, Chestnut Ridge ran it at $12/500.  Jackpot.

It's not an overly appreciated round on arfcom, I figured I just got lucky with the stuff.  Nice to see another fan.
