| Says he's not coming back.What a drama queen. |
|
Quoted:
Shame he isn't coming back. 40 and got them within one game of the Superbowl. I hate to see him go. I wasn't a Green Bay fan and I have never been a Vikings fan but I have always been a Favre fan. I really couldn't stand the guy. But I will admit that right up until the end he was a great player and competitor. Nevertheless... I am glad that the drama queen has finally hung it up. It was time. And his body will thank him. |

Quoted: Amen. Quoted: Quoted: Brett Favre is dead to me. Ouch! Maybe that's too harsh but the guy is irrelevant to me anymore. "Hey guys, I'm leaving." "I'm back!" "I'm leaving." "I'm back!" "I'm leaving, for real this time." As a diehard Packer fan, I am disappoint. Oh, and Ted Thompson can kiss my ass too!!! |
|
His ego wouldn't allow him a graceful exit & a chance to retire from the absolute most revered sports franchise ever. He'll surely be an instant Hall Of Famer, but the stench he wears, now, will never go away. Fuck Mike Holmgren, too. Maybe his melon head will explode this year. |
|
I don't understand the hate.
GB didn't want him, he could still play. In fact he could still play at an ALL-PRO level. It's not like he was like Namath or OJ or any of those guys that hung on till they weren't even valuable as a backup. This guy was winning games and making plays till the last game. |

Hopefully the drama queen goes away and stops causing damage to his reputation. The age of Favre will always be scarred by his stupidity during his "Retirement" years. +1 to this. If he really is just doing this to avoid training camp AGAIN... screw him and his idiocy. The fans deserve more than that. He might as well do a show like T.O. and Ocho-stinko if he's that much of a whore/drama queen. They've got talent too. But talent isn't everything. Grace, honor, dignity, etc... they ought to mean something. If Favre had skipped the on-again, off-again stupidity I wouldn't feel such animosity toward him. But the drama is beyond stupid and it makes him look like an idiot. (And remember... I've NEVER questioned his talent or abilities. He's still a VERY capable QB. And unfortunately, he's quite the actor too...) |

He's not coming back to avoid camp again this year. He's says he hates camp. When camp's over, he'll be back... or when somebody comes up w/ the right amount of money, he'll be back. Can't even be a team player.... He should retire. Even Joe Montana and Dan Marino attended their final training camps. |
|
He'll be back in a few weeks....not over yet.
But this tactic is not attracting as much press as it used to....this is probably the last time this nonsense will work. Next season they will have to invent a new way to fake out the fans.....perhaps he can fake his own death then miraculously emerge from the tunnel on opening day. |

He bailed on Green Bay. He "retired" they gave the job to Rogers (a much better QB) and told him he had to earn his job THAT HE QUIT back. Princess didn't like that so he whined for them to let him go. They agreed as long as he didn't go to the NFC North then he "retired" after one season... wonder why he only signed for one... then wnt to the NFC North! The guy lost the Vikings that playoff game on a stupid ego play. The guy has gone from being one of the most respected players in the NFL to a cancer and a joke. I'm a Lions fan. I hated the Packers, but damnit... you had to respect Favre. When he torched us I still liked the guy. When he start shitting all over his reputation and pulling his diva act he lost all my respect. Hell, I'm even a packers fan now because of it! |

Hell, I'm even a packers fan now because of it! THIS! WORD-4-WORD! Why do people always seem to think it was the Packers' fault that Favre left? HE QUIT! I used to kind of hate the Pack. But since Favre's reality drama show has been in session, I've followed them and rooted for them. If Rodgers could get a friggin' offensive line in front of him, he'd get something done. |
