She reminds me of a stupid cunt I once knew. Short story; spoiled rich girl raised in a Liberal Boston household goes to college and marries a poor and "persecuted" Muslim boy from Afghanistan and is thrilled to be moving to A-stan to start her new life (she had so much fun picking out her burqa outfits) and to get away from all those horrible Americans. Fast-forward 10 years and she returns to her parents; bruised, beaten and sick. She abandoned her own children in order to leave A-stan. Of course, somehow this is all the fault of Right-Wing Republicans!
