I could see a lot of people getting pretty irate and agitated if someone rearends them then refuses to exit their vehicle to exchange info. Sad that certain types would necessitate these considerations. Shitty situation. |

So pretty much any fender bender call LEO and let them take care of the insurance info transfer. |

I hit some idiot's open car door in Boston a few years ago and called the cops. -Is anyone injured? -No. -Then just exchange information. Click. If no ambulance needed you work it out yourselves. Unfortunately we have plenty of people who work it out like this. Had he been white they probably would have killed him. |

So many people are nuts. A guy hit my car while merging on the freeway last year. It was night. The area was desolate . The guy would not get out of his car. I was afraid he was injured. He finally got out of the car when he saw I was with 2 grandkids. I guess that made me look less threatening. I was very calm and was just thankful nobody was injured. He remarked about how calm I was and said he originally did not want to exit his car to avoid a road rage situation. I told him I really do not give a shit, it is now USAA’s problem, that’s why I pay them. Nobody is hurt, the car has a dent that can be fixed, it’s all OK. |
