| my family is originally from southern florida, in the homestead area...we had a hunting camp in the glades built on a island, used to airboat out to it, ride the honda atc 90 when it first came out, or my grandpa would take us in his bush plane. i used to go there as a kid from around 1-5 years old. i remember some of it, it was like a southern alaska in a way for sheer remoteness. well, before the feds forced all the camps shut down. |
