Be warned. This is gross. Don't bitch if I make you barf. This is seriously gross stuff. And not totally necessary. I just want an answer to a question.
Be warned. I've been fighting cold/flu for over a week now. I took 7 whole days off because of this. A couple of days ago I blew my nose and seriously.... the mucus (aka snot) came out BRIGHT YELLOW. I am serious, folks, it looked like I'd huffed a Day-Glo yellow marker. Is this anything to be alarmed about? |
I am a sucker for these kinds of threads. Morbid curiosity I guess. Thankfully, you didn't post a pic.  In any case, I've seen things that can't be unseen, but a little snot story is way down on the list of things that could gross me out. The tonsilolith thread was MUCH worse. |

Agreed. the worst pic I've seen on Arfcom is the one where the guy photoshopped a lamprey's mouth on his fingertips. I thought I was looking through his fingertips to the backs of his nails! Still gives me the willies... |
So where are the pics?  New examples for the nose goblin collection! Yay! BTW...remember these words: ALKA SELTZER PLUS COLD MEDICINE CAPLETS. I had a cold last week and as soon as I feel something coming on, I get on the Alka Seltzer caplets, the blue ones for the day and the green ones at night. It's almost like I don't have a cold while I'm on the stuff. It's fantastic at knocking down the symptoms. I swear it also reduces the time you have the cold because you're not constantly re-irritating already irritated mucous membranes and other things. Coughing leads to coughing and a sore throat. Blowing and wiping a runny nose causes irritation to your nose. Use this medicine and you feel a lot better instead of feeling like shit all day. My cold ran its course in three days. A week would be typical without the medicine. I was never in much discomfort. My sinuses got a little TOO dry, that's about all. CJ |
