Kiyosaki's books are good for the entreprenuer mindset.  That's something you don't get in college.

I suggest continuing your financial education and learn the distinction between money and currency.  Get the Kiyosaki Rich Dad/Poor Dad Guide to Silver by Mike Maloney.  Then read Karl Denninger's book, Leverage.  You may also want to read Peter Schiff's Crash Proof 2.0.

Those books will put you into a position to build generational wealth after the great economic reset.

I might suggest Peter Bernstein's Against the Gods:  The Remarkable Story of Risk. If you want to understand personal finance you need to understand risk and risk management. Managing your risk and especially your downside risk is the key to long term success.

I don't want to talk down Dave Ramsey as I consider some of his stuff excellent but he is full of it on some of his investment advice. His advice on paying down debt and establishing an emergency fund is excellent.

I taught undergraduate classes in  financial planning and retirement planning at our local state university for 10 years as an adjunct.
