I came across a thread on some firearm/ammo inventory software and I thought I'd share.
http://forum.pafoa.org/general-2/39932-first-peek-weapons-collection-software.html It's still in it's developmental stages, but it's a heck of a lot better than GunSafe. |

Reported Attack Site!
This web site at www.mtonesoftware.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences. Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system. Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners. not sure what this means? |
| Looks good...but the one thing I do like about gunsafe is that you don't have to install it and you can run it directly from a flash drive...anyone know if this one will be similar? I've been thinking of writing a nice powerful inventory software, but mine would be an installation...don't think it would be worth the time for me since I get by with gunsafe. |

+2 to Excel.
I'm no MS Office whiz, but it seems to me that's why they make spreadsheet programs. Of course, my inventory consists solely of an outdated email I sent to my insurance agent. Probably should throw that info into Excel & update my coverage, since that email list was at least 3 guns ago.
