Has anyone been a firefighter in the National Guard at an airbase?  If so can you give me any details.

Deployments, shifts, training, daily life/duties ect. anything else I'm not considering?  I'm considering looking into it further but I don't really want to contact a recruiter yet and go through all the BS that comes along with it.

I'm not sure if our firefighters are civilians or if they are guard dudes. Never seen em in uniform before. Check your PM... my unit isn't far from where you are...
