why? If you want something that realistic, you might as well get the real thing. Also, I hate when people say real steel. It's an annoying phrase and just hearing it gives me the urge to punch somebody. You can't shoot the real thing in your basement or at friends... legally, that is. |

Quoted: Quoted: so does that lower make a real upper full auto? ![]() That was my point... The lower is touted as being 1 to 1 scale, it is a forged Al receiver and it has actual FCG with an auto-sear in what looks like the right spot. ![]() If it were, ATF would be up their ass quicker than Barney Frank on his boyfriend. |

I figure if you buy one the BATF is gonna track your ass down once they find out. |

There's one other company importing FA FVGs with their airsoft guns to the US. So far the ATF hasn't done anything. There are LOTS of reasons to buy one of these: 1) Realistic force on force training with a weapons simulator which closely approximates the real thing. 2) Playing Mil-sim games 3) Because you cannot legally own the real deal (semi OR Fully automatic). 4) Because you want the fun of rotating the fun switch ALL THE WAY BACK without the $15k price tag. |

The hammer wobbled after being released. The springs are MUCH lower power. My guess is the lower is made from the cheapest AL alloy they could find. It wouldn't stand up to real use. And my bet is it's dimensionally off as well. |

Umm these certainly aren't new (not the first thread on them at least).. and Inokatsu most definitely was not the first. This type of airsoft are known as 'GBBR's' or "Gas Blow Back Rifles." The first design was put out by Western Arms and everything after that has just been a copy or modification like the Inokatsu you see here. You can get one for $60 if you want. The mil spec versions will accept real upper receivers, thus leading to many legal concerns which I addressed sometime ago in the past. They are just now releasing see-through lower receivers so you can get a better look at the fire control parts: http://www.gp-web.com/en/photo/wp131b.jpg http://www.gp-web.com/en/photo/wp131c.jpg Again, the OP has just stumbled across the most accurate (not really) replica GBBR which also happens to be the most expensive. You can buy a decent Chinese clone for $60 or build one yourself like I did What manufacture is selling the see-through lower? Have not seen that on any GBBR's yet. |

Quoted: It wouldn't surprise me if the chicoms took one of the many CAD files floating around to make these rather than doing their own work, thus they would be pretty close to the real thing. They already have. Like I said, you can get a Chinese clone for $60. Plink away. $60, where? That's way too cheap unless it's an LPEG. AGM released the first Chinese clone for $120, I bought one - add another $15 for reinforced parts and it's still working today. Since then, clone companies like Jing Jong, G&G, Dboys and more have all released more copies and they just keep getting cheaper. The last I saw was several months ago for $60 and $80. After wich the Chinese government cracked down on these companies and shut them down. Some are beginning to resurface now so you should be able to find them again. I'll do a search and see what I can find... but first I wanted to share this: Check this out! The custom recievers like Inokatsu and Prime are unquestionably mil spec. One GBBR user took his airsoft lower and fixed it to an old Bushmaster A1 upper. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y111/masa301/WAM4/M733f.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y111/masa301/WAM4/M733e.jpg Link to some decent ones I could practice with? |
