One shot to the lungs and on kill shot to the head. Not the biggest in the world but it will do for my first. Measured 18 inches wide and 16 inches high. |

Nice looking deer. Got my first deer four years ago with a muzzleloader. I couldn't tell whether I hit him or not for about two minutes - took that long for the smoke to clear. I was shaking so badly after the shot I shook the ramrod out of the muzzleloader! When I stop getting that feeling I'll quit hunting. |
