This morning I became the possessor of a Third Class Medical and Student Pilot Certificate.  At 48 y/o, I was sweating some aspects of the physical, but it ended up I was worrying too much. Next step is to finish pulling the funding together to complete the PPL. Why didn't I do this back when it was around $1200???? This will be an exercise in long-term planning, patience, and dedication to a goal. |

You and my son are in the same boat (or is it plane?). He's got the medical an the wtitten done and is ready for solo, but the weather and job keep screwing him. Hang in there... on the days when you can't fly, hit the books and DVD's and get the next hurdle out of the way- the dreaded written test. |
