Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Mike and I am an honorably discharged veteran who now lives in the great and free state of Texas. I have been CCW for over 10 years now and I currently own only one AK-47 and I plan to buy a new one fairly soon. The actions of our current administration is appalling and I fear that the America I swore to defend is being taken away from us. I joined the NRA for the first time yesterday and I plan to become more involved because our voice, the voice of freedom and reason needs to be heard before it is too late.
I am a native of the socialist state of California and the freedom in this great state of Texas is amazing to me. I walked into a gun store at 0900 recently and in less than two hours I walked out with an AK-47 and a pistol. In California this could have never happened that way due to their oppressive regulations. In California I was never thanked for being a veteran (not even by my family) nor were there any type of discounts for veterans that I know of. In Texas veterans are routinely given discounts (after you show identification: VA picture I.D.) and the cashiers often tell me, "Thanks for your service" after I show them my I.D. The first time I was told this I was speechless because I had never heard it before and all I could muster was, "Thank you." If you are a veteran or about to retire or be honorably discharged from the military I highly recommend the great state of Texas! If this socialist "Health Care Reform" passes congress I hope Texas Secedes from the USA and becomes sovereign unto itself. These are serious times indeed as Obama tries to change this country into a "welfare state" where the few support the many. Obama wants the health care for my children to suffer so some illegal immigrants can get health care? Seniors will be denied health care so some gangster who has never worked a day in his life can receive health care in their stead? Not on my watch! We need to take our country back from these communists and vote them out of office before America is not the land of the free anymore! Nice to meet you all and God Bless America! |
