I figured I'd give this a try. Go easy on me.

Country-fried deer cube steak (yes, I killed it) accompanied by roma beans (from last springs garden) and homemade mashed potatoes (I didn't grow these - I ran out of potatoes back in June); topped with milk gravy made from scratch.

It's not much of a story on this one, unfortunately.

Not enough deer had been taken on a farm tract so we went culling a few does, and this one ended up being one. To be specific, she was taken shortly before dusk this past January with a .243. DRT, no tracking needed.

That looks really good to me. Nice job OP. I don't know about pink gravy but I also didn't know about grits until I got my first taste in Tennesee as a young lad. You southerners might have what looks like sketchy ideas to a yank, but you never know until you try it. 10

They're essentially the same thing as "italian cut" green beans you get in a can.

Most feed & seed stores will call them "roma's" or "bush beans".

I would have deducted points for no long gun reload, no tactical knife, no alcoholic drink, no cloth napkin (but I'm very picky about things like that
