[ARCHIVED THREAD] - First dinner pic - Including kill pic

Shot my first elk on Monday morning at 19 yards with my bow in Eastern Oregon. Clean and quick kill. My wife and I cut him up yesterday and today, and grilled some fresh steaks for dinner. I already had some delicious fried backstrap for breakfast this morning, but had to fire up the charcoal tonight. Yeah...it tasted as good as you can imagine. For the pic are my Nowlin 1911, Noveske AR, and Benchmade meat cutting tool. Jefferson's small batch went well with the steak. I also included the arrow of death just because I haven't seen it done before.

The camo is Kuiu. Phenomenal stuff. This is season 3 with it for me.

Don't worry guys, that was just the first plate of food. I like to keep it warm for 2nds, so it didn't all make it onto the plate for the first serving. There was plenty of steak consumed tonight to increase my iron levels for a day or so.
