You can say what you want about the government, but if citizens themselves are doing nothing to stand up to the evil in society then it doesn't matter who is in charge or what laws exist. |

This would really be one of the worst self-defense scenarious I could dream of. Even if you were legally carrying (which you can't), the only two options I see are that you're overpowered, or you manage to defend yourself only to face criminal charges for 'randomly shooting kids'. I'd fully support anyone who opened fire killing every last one of them if possible... they know exactly what they're doing. But I just can't envision any way the victim wouldn't get fucked over somehow in such a scenario.

That's why I believe that any plan to carry in such an environment must include an escape and evasion plan to be executed as soon as the shooting stops. |

I have lived in Chicago my entire life. These "wildings" have been occurring nearly every weekend in downtown Chicago for the last year or so. Old tricky Dick kept a lid on the media so it wasn't reported. Now that Shortshanks is gone, they media has begun reporting these incidents. Most of the offenders are juveniles.
The police are having a hard time keeping up with these kids because we are undermanned by about 2,500 officers. It will be very interesting this summer to say the least. |

Well I say we take a road trip and ride SEPTA in Philly. I'm white and it wouldn't take too long for a group of urban yutes to spot me. I'd have to say if I was attacked by 2 or more, many - if not all - are gonna get much more than they ever bargained for.
Animals are animals and the law of the jungle applies. Strength and force is universal. What I see in Chicago is the pols selling out the citizens. In places where CCW is shall-issue, I doubt they'd have this sort of trouble for very long. |

It's really funny when a doctors office or someone from the floor needs some patients results and they can not even venture a guess how to pronounce the name, so they spell it, which doesn't make sense as well, with all the Q's and apostrophees and stuff. |
