It makes perfect sense in Key West. In Key West, it's safe to assume that the owner is rather mild mannered and conservative. |

Fla. is weird ...Key West is very special weird. lived here in Tampa 50 of my 60 years and almost all of the clowns in Key West are not natives.
I still pull my boat from Tampa To Ramrod Key twice a year, but just rent a taxi for one night each trip for the Duval Crawl...It really was better 30 years ago. Now it's just plain stupid at MM zero....

Did the Duval Crawl a few times myself when I was in the Marines..had an older lady I would see who was with the FDLE who lived on Ramrod Key as well..Good times back in the day. I couldn't do it now, nor would I want to.

Ramrod Key is just about the right distance from Key West for things to start to become sorta sane , about 25 to 30 miles.The worst time ive had in the Keys is when I didn't take a boat and went down with a chick and just had 5 days of drinking and party....It just gets to much after a few days..... But take a boat and learn where the locals party and eat and learn the waters , it is the best place is the US....I leave Tampa at 3am and am at Looe Key Resort right at 11 am....perfection...Locals girls can pick up on a newbie in seconds....
