This is the greatest invention the Earth has ever seen.

Better even than boxer briefs, Astroglide, Tang, steak, or the Wahl personal groomer.

The possibilities are endless. In fact, I think I shall vacuum seal myself until the Nintendo Wii hits the market.

Yep!

Methinks thats a bad idea.  No idea how long you're gonna be in there.  Years? You'd probably spoil by then anyway.

I've spent the last 4 days packing everything we had in the pantry.  This thing is kickass for bulk chickpeas, cous cous, and barley.

Good way to keep cereal fresh.  Open bag, get what you need, then vac and seal the rest.

How did I ever live without this thing?

I was thinking of getting one to vacuum-seal up a couple 1911's and a pile of mags/ammo

Don't ask me how I know, but... if you're going to vacuum-seal FMJ ammo, make sure to put something over the bullet points so they don't puncture the plastic.  Same goes for stripper clips...

I'm itching to get one too.  The idea of being able to vacum seal individual pairs of socks, pants, shirts in a BOB make it extreamly attractive.  Not to mention matches, lighters, electronics and food.

Buy meats bulk @ Sam's or Costco, go home, break them down into family meal-sized portions, seal them up.

Good stuff.

We have burnt up 4 of them so far. Use Mason jars for long term storage of dry goods like Rice, beans, etc. and for short term refridgerator storage. Use the bags for freezing.

Outstanding.  I have the same bag that I use for school.  I'm thinking about buying another one to do something similar to yours.  What's the purpose of the Shoot-n-C?
