I'm looking for a food processor, the cheap black and decker one i've got is on its last leg. I would like something in the 9+ cup range. If possible under $150. |

I have a Cuisinart Pro Classic 7 cup Food Processor.
I've had it for years and it is still going strong. I know you mentioned a 9 cup capacity, but I do a LOT of cooking and the 7 cup has served me well. I think I paid about $100.00 for it new and it came with some extra accessories. Hope this helps. |

I cook alot and have been looking for a way to make cheaper almond/cashew/pecan butter I read that if you start it in a food processor it comes together better. |

I have the KitchenAid, I don't know what capacity it is, it's more than 2 quarts at least. Comes with slicer and grater attachments, all of it works great. I had a small quart sized processor before which sucked, because it was too small to handle doughs. I had to half the portions.

| Years ago I burnt out a Cuisinart blender by trying to blend too much peanut butter and oats. I called them up and they said to send the motor back. I did and they sent me the entire blender package back, motor, blender glass, food processor attachment and everything. Cuisinart gets my vote as a good to deal with company. |
