Looks like Mariana Perez from BofA raise her price target this morning from $30 to $50. Not seeing the press release yet but it showed up in the chart. Attached File |

Interesting regarding HOOD. Without breaking OPSEC and asking from a place of perspective for my decision making process, for your HOOD play: Are you a trader, buy and hold, investor or other? What order of magnitude are you talking? $500, $5k, $50k, $500k? Time horizons? |

What order of magnitude are you talking? $500, $5k, $50k, $500k? Time horizons? No problem. I enter into most of my positions to trade (mainly selling options). If I develop high conviction I’ll develop an investment thesis based on what I believe the stock is capable of. I will hold until either the thesis is realized or fails (bail immediately). I have just over 1800 shares of HOOD. |

I’ve been critical of certain analysts in previous posts but I thought I’d show an example of why I disregard some of them. Currently analyst price targets for Palantir range from $9 (Rishi @ RBC) to $50 (Mariana @ BofA). Here are their ratings on tip ranks which should speak for themselves. Attached File Attached File |
If there was one thing that could show why I’m still bullish on Palantir at $35 it would be this video. These guys have a pretty decent following and the video oozes the FOMO that seems to be common since the S&P announcement. The increased interest should no doubt lead to more buying pressure. ![]() Why Palantir Is Our New Favorite AI Stock Edit: FYI the video sucks and its creators should be embarrassed. Old information is presented like it’s breaking news so the creators can pretend like they’re not late to the party. Only posted it to showcase new interest in the stock. |

Originally Posted By heavily_armed: Peter Thiel interviewed last week, featuring career advice for actors ![]() That was pretty good, thanks for sharing. +1 on his advice for actors trying to avoid being replaced by AI. Thiel’s book Zero to One is a great read for anyone wanting an understanding of his investing thesis. Got tired posting every time we set a new 52 week high when it started happening pretty much every day. That said we got over $37 for a bit this morning, congratulations to all longs. With the FED set to begin the rate cutting cycle tomorrow I wonder if Palantir will ramp up their $1B buy back and possibly increase what’s authorized as their pile of cash starts not earning as much of a return. |

Today should be interesting. Today is the day we technically get added to the S&P. It’s also monthly options expiration day so there’s always some games played to move prices. Apparently insiders sold a bunch of shares yesterday Futures currently red Down $1 in the premarket as I type this After hours edit: finished up 1% on almost 9x average volume Attached File |

Fund managers have been adding it up. I am not saying it will continue going up like this ad libitum, possibly it will come back down a bit. Some say it's going up to 50$ per share in not long from now. Whatever it is, I think now - more than ever - that it's a great investment for my children. In 10 years from now it should be valued considerably more (5x?). Happy. |

@Solo_ I think the earnings in about 6 weeks will be a huge determining factor. If they can beat the estimates and put out some good guidance it should put concerns about them being able to grow into their valuation to rest. But then the price goes up and people still moan about the valuation. Seems to be an ongoing trend. |

Watching Amit talk with Chris Camillo from the Dumb Money YouTube video I posted earlier. Not going to lie I had no idea who he was or what his track record was before. 70% annualized returns over 17 years is beyond insane. He lays down his investing thesis and it makes sense why he came off as late to the party. He’s not trying to find the next big thing but instead find the current thing and ride it for a while. Decent watch. Amit must be star stuck as I’m half way through it and he has yet to mention any of the little mistakes contained in his original video, mistakes that include pronouncing Amit’s name wrong. ![]() He Took $20K & Turned It Into $60M. Now He's Betting on Palantir. Edit: around the 55:00 mark Chris actually asks Amit if he pronounced his name wrong and Amit reluctantly says yes. LOL. |

| I sold puts on SMCI earlier this year. Most of the time successfully but I did have a couple of close calls. Haven't watched it much lately. I see it is getting low enough it might be interesting again, but there are also others I am interested in. I think it is a good business, but the stock is prone to wild swings. |

Get checked boys. Prostate cancer is pretty much 100% survivable if they catch it before it spreads, pretty much 100% fatal once it spreads. |

“In 1980, AT&T hired a consultancy company to estimate the market size for cell phones by 2000. The study suggested there would only be 900k users. The actual number of mobile subscriptions in 2000 was >100mn. These early estimates also failed to anticipate the world of apps, streaming, smart devices, and ultimately, how this new product would bring forward the first public trillion-dollar company. We view Palantir’s (PLTR) capabilities, technology and path forward facing a similar fundamental misunderstanding. The upcoming S&P 500 inclusion provides a watershed moment for institutional investors to revisit what they “know” about PLTR. We reiterate our Buy rating and raise our PO to $50." -Mariana Perez Mora, BofA analyst who covers Palantir from her upgrade after S&P inclusion was announced. |

I am comfortable with my position size and holding but if I wasn’t I don’t know that I would be buying right now. They’re up 150% in the last year and around 500% in the last 2 years. IMO It would require some serious earnings growth if they are to double again in the next 12 months. |
